Medications and dosages
These are guidelines only. Always contact your veterinarian before administering any medication especially if your animal is elderly or on other prescription medications. Never administer Ibuprofen or Tylenol to your animal as these medications can cause severe morbidity or death. Also, never give your human prescription medications to your pets as animals often process medications differently than we do!
All dosages are for dogs only. Cats tend to be more sensitive to medications and should not be given anything without first contacting your veterinarian.
If your animal does not improve within 24 hours or the symptoms worsen, contact your veterinarian immediately for an appointment.
